Memoir and Non-fiction categories for this year's cyber convention called the Brain to Books Cyber Convention and Book Expo (aka fell onto my desk and I'll confess—I knew these genres would be short listing, compared to my friends over at Sci Fi and Fantasy who are hosting many, many authors. So with a steady, sturdy and stalwart group of memoirists to promo along with the non-fiction work of Aarti Patel ND and myself, we open Year Two.
What's here for you?
If you love Memoir don't hesitate to check out the Genre Tour on my Memoirs page. Click on Memoirs on the sidebar and sample writing from Laura McHale Holland, Kathy Pooler, Aarti Patel, Jennifer Monahan,  and Joy lo-Bamijoko. Click on their links for more about them and their books.

Check out the Panel Discussions slated for
when we'll round table the theme of how reading Memoir contributes to healing in the reader and wherever else our minds and hearts flow.

I'm glad you're here and so excited you've found this group of talented authors. Read on and enjoy!

And from their website:
“Who we are:
Brain to Books works to unite the voices of undiscovered authors under one message so that we increase the chances of being heard. “We are here,” is our message and our books are worth reading
What we do:
Brain to Books provides a toolbox for authors who lack the knowledge or confidence to market. We gently ease authors into marketing with the use of guerrilla and drip marketing techniques. We are always on the lookout for tools that we can pass on to our authors.
Who we serve:
Brain to Books serves the author who is nervous about networking and marketing. We take authors by the hand and lead them into the world of marketing, and we’re with them every step of the way.”

On April 7, 8, 9, 2017 , The Third Annual Brain to Book Cyber Conference will take place.
I will be participating in the Memoir Genre, managed by Author, Poet, Meditation Teacher
Book Expo where my memoir, Ever Faithful to His Lead : My Journey Away From Emotional Abuse will be displayed in my “Author Showcase/Booth”.
Blog Tour where traffic will be directed to my website.
Genre Tour where I will feature one of my blog posts on memoir writing.
Two Panel Discussions: One on the healing aspects of writing memoir and the other on memoir and mindfulness.

See that figure up on the top banner on your right? Some people think it looks like a sitting cat, some a man tilting slightly and some say it’s a Buddha. Scientists call it the Mandlebrot Set.
It is the center of a Fractal. The Mandlebrot Set repeats endlessly, in endless varieties of patterns along those nervy looking ends, variety that always ends up with, yes, another Mandlebrot Set that looks exactly like a sitting cat, man tilting or Buddha. This formation of endlessly unique patterns revealing the same core is the essence form of all forms, describing at once Free Will and Determinism, Fate and Will, Reason and Passion, Science and Soul.

From Canadian Eva Stachniak, icon of Historic Fiction to Neuroscientist Apryl Pooley on her personal experiences with PTSD and many more, these interviews offer the rare, unique and unusual.
Keep listening for discussions about Fairies, Shamanism and more.

Using Wellness Wednesdays from the fabulous Stouffville Yoga Life studio in downtown Stouffville as our beginning, we read about the latest in science and well-being: how parts of your brain drop off in naps throughout the day without you knowing, how breathing in and out through your nostrils improves your emotional judgment and your memory, how your gut mind is greater than your head brain and so much more.

What do others have to say about their nightly dreams, their struggles and successes? Explore ways to reduce stress, remember night dreams and provide your life with more vibrant health. Within the challenges of your path your Soul waits, quietly, ever patiently, waiting for you to turn toward her love.

Journaling, dream diary, daily lists of experience every life has something to tell us. Your story unfolds its own rare and shining pattern and we see again our commonality as humans revealed in the power of the individual’s once and only once life.

The Stain:
A novel about how Collective Karma
and Reincarnation work.

Medicine Buddha/Medicine Mind:
This non fiction work tells of the seam between Visualization,
that popular notion in New Age circles, and Neuroscience.
In simple language and easy to read ideas the book explores how what Neuroscience tells us provides answers to why Visualizations work.

Bliss Pig:
Co-authored with Toronto’s maven of poetry, the elder Linda Stitt brings her inimitable style and wit to combine with my own poetry in this treasured collection.

If you search through the bits above you’ll see they all come back to one place: Love of Language! That’s my Mandlebrot Set.
